Let’s make our voices heard and demand fair contracts!


United for Oregon March: Sunday June 7


Bring your family and friends! We will form up at the Eastbank Esplanade near OMSI (between Main & Taylor on the West side of Water Avenue) at 11:30 am, march across the Hawthorne Bridge starting at 1 pm, and gather at Terry Schrunk Plaza (3rd Avenue at Madison in downtown Portland) for a rally at 2 pm.

  1. we should all try too get out to this sunday. a lot of unions will be going ,along with cross trade solidarity ,which is a group of rank and file construction workers
    that are about union reforms. this can be a very exciting event and it will give respect members a chance too set up for this upcoming union meeting.

    This was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon, the weather was just right. It was a Joy to see familiar faces, now if I could just remember all the names.It was a bummer that someone gave the decision to start the march earlier than planned I met a lot of people that had to catch up with the crowd. I on reflection decided that this whole event reminded me of a pair of brand new union made work boots, up on the shelf for sale. I will hope that they break in well, and that they take well to there future path.
    Our union(painters) had a small turn out, I ran in to a total of four members including myself. A couple of us gave a hand at holding the banner for Cross-Trade Solidarity.
